Privacy Policy for ADM: Advanced Dance Music

This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of Adam Peacock ("we", "us", or "our") on the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use the ADM: Advanced Dance Music ("ADM") mobile application (the "Service"), and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We do not require you to create an account or provide any personally identifying information (such as your name, email address, phone number, or postal address) to use ADM.

The Service collects and processes the following limited categories of information automatically:

a. Diagnostic and crash data

b. Technical identifiers and device information

c. Anonymous usage metrics

d. Apple Music / Music library data

e. Your tempo (BPM) tags and application preferences

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above only for the following purposes:

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, or profiling.

3. Third-Party Services

ADM uses the following third-party services to provide the functionality described above:

a. Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.)

We use Sentry for crash reporting, error logging, performance monitoring, and anonymous usage metrics. When the application crashes, encounters an error, or records a metric, the data listed in Section 1(a)–(c) above is transmitted to Sentry's servers for our review.

b. Apple iCloud (CloudKit)

We use Apple's CloudKit private database service to synchronize your tempo tags and preferences across your own Apple devices. This data is stored in your own iCloud account; we do not have access to it.

c. Apple MusicKit

The Service uses Apple's MusicKit framework, with your permission, to access your music library on-device.

We do not use any advertising networks, marketing analytics services (such as Google Analytics, Facebook, Mixpanel, etc.), or any service that sells or shares your personal information.

4. Data Retention

Diagnostic, crash, and usage data sent to Sentry is retained according to Sentry's standard retention policies (typically 30 to 90 days for event data; please refer to Sentry's privacy policy for current details).

Data stored in your iCloud account is retained according to your own iCloud preferences and is deleted when you remove the app or delete the data through the app's settings.

5. Data Security

All data transmitted to Sentry is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. Data stored in iCloud is protected by Apple's security measures. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights Under California Law (CCPA / CPRA / CalOPPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provide you with the following rights regarding your personal information:

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. We do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising.

In accordance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), we honor "Do Not Track" signals; the Service does not track its users across third-party websites or services.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address in Section 10. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our records.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, by providing notice within the application. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
